Get to know Judy Gibson…
What is your role at Market Crafters?
I take care of things like accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll. But the most important part of my job is supporting our team on the human resource side of things: insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, family leaves – benefits that contribute to our healthy work environment and the Market Crafters culture.
What’s one great thing about working at Market Crafters?
There are so many things to love about Market Crafters! I don’t know where to begin. I do like that there are little chocolate bars everywhere.
If you ruled the world, what would you change?
I would follow the example of Bhutan and put in place policies that measure human progress and success as GNH “Gross National Happiness” as opposed to GNP “Gross National Product.”
How did you get interested in acupuncture and start your business Seven Directions Community Acupuncture?
It’s a calling.
What is the bravest thing you’ve ever done?
I hitchhiked across the country in the seventies with my sisters. It didn’t seem brave then, but in retrospect it’s terrifying!
If you were writing an autobiography, what would the title be?
What’s Your Sign? Who’s Your God? Do You Want to Dance?
