What is your role at Market Crafters?
I provide project and research support to teams across Market Crafters, specifically for the digital team. Shout out Lystra & Maddy!
What is something you won’t shut up about?
My curly hair. I have 3a type curls that I never knew how to take care of growing up, but now I would consider myself a hair guru. Not actually, but I do love sparking up a conversation with other curly–haired people whenever I get the chance!
What is the bravest thing you’ve ever done?
In 2020, I messaged one of my half siblings on Facebook for the first time ever. And surprise, they had no idea I existed! Now we’re super close and I’m moving to North Carolina to live with my big sis and brother-in-law.
What’s the best gift anyone’s ever given you?
When I was twelve years old, I really wanted a pair of Jordan sneakers. My big brother tricked me into thinking he was getting his girlfriend a custom pair for Christmas. He even asked me to help him design them for her knowing it would make me mad. But on Christmas morning, he handed me a pair of custom Jordan sneakers designed just for me. It has been over 10 years and I still wear them.
What is your favorite advertisement of all time?
That would have to be the 2010 Snickers Super Bowl ad featuring Betty White. I remember being nine years old watching that ad for the first time and laughing at it for weeks after. It also carries a special meaning for me because I have a dog named Snickers, and it happened to be one of my grandma’s favorite candies.
