What is your role at Market Crafters?
I’m a Senior Marketing Specialist based in the Philippines. I called myself the PH guinea pig since I was the first employee on the other side of the world, and I really enjoyed drilling down and optimizing new and old processes!
Where is your favorite place to travel?
Just take me to a beach! 2022 was my revenge travel year when the pandemic restrictions were easing up and I went on 15 trips − 12 of which were beaches. For a city trip, I love Taiwan! Affordable, lots of food trip spots (especially milk tea + fried chicken!), and really pretty sights.
What is the bravest thing you’ve ever done?
I’ve trusted strangers to throw me up and around… literally! I’m a retired cheerleader who did the sport for 12 years and has had her share of broken bones, black eyes, busted lips, bruises, cuts, and more. Some people I’ve met on the same day (without even knowing their names) would toss me in the air and I could only hope they’d catch me too. I love the thrill!
Do you have a sweet tooth or a savory tooth?
Definitely a sweet tooth. My friends and family describe me as someone who has a palette of a 12 year old. I love candy, eat almost anything with barbecue sauce (especially chicken nuggets + fries), and my sister calls me a serial milk tea drinker.
What is your favorite thing about working at Market Crafters?
I couldn’t pick just 1! I love the people and the culture.
A former colleague described me as the epitome of “WHYPHY” (from the movie 21 Jump Street) or “Work hard? Yes. Play Hard, Yes.” I love to challenge myself and go all out at work so I can enjoy living life outside work guilt-free. I love hanging out with my dog and loved ones, trying new restaurants, travelling, and working out 4-6x a week (currently training for a half marathon, joining gymnastics classes, and cheerleading with my former university teammates)!
The communication, flexibility, and respect for each other’s time in the agency allows everyone to enjoy an amazing and recharging work-life balance. Everyone works so well and vibes together!
